Members of the Jeff ring plead guilty to thievery

Johnny Jerome Krummel, 32, Joseph Krummel, 34, and Clint “Wood” Kiff, 23, all of Marrero, and Nolty “Chunky” Kiff Jr., 24, of New Orleans each pleaded guilty to three counts of conspiracy and theft charges relating to a car robbery New Year’s Eve 2001, and to charges they burglarized rail cars in November 2002. Additionally, Johnny Jerome Krummel, Clint Kiff and Nolty Kiff have separate added charges. Assistant U.S. Attorney Christopher Cox was one of the prosecutors on this case, in which they face extensive prison terms.
